Renewable energy is our priority sector with a focus on Solar Energy Technology. Very little business, education, healthcare or entertainment can be done without some form of power. Over 645 million Africans are without access to electricity especially in the rural areas. In urban areas, grid extensions are highly unreliable and fluctuate with changes in seasons. AOP’s focus is on rural electrification through off-grid solar Photovoltaic plants. As an Independent Power Producer, AOP is partnering with Africa’s local governments, ministries of energy and Rural Electrification Agencies to power up rural Africa one community at a time.
